Job summary

bk plus in Ashford seeks an Accounts Manager to lead a team handling a broad range of accounts for SMEs. You will oversee junior staff, review work, and ensure deadlines and budgets are met while delivering high-quality client service.

The role requires ACCA/ACA or equivalent, with at least five years in practice and familiarity with FRS102 and FRS102A. A proactive manager will thrive here, supporting Partners and managing client portfolios in a dynamic firm.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA qualification or equivalent recognised by relevant body.
• Minimum 5 years of recent experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience with FRS102 and FRS102A accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete and review a wide variety of accounts for small and medium sized companies.
• Review the work of the Accounts team.
• Provide feedback and develop the team.
• Support Partners with day-to-day duties.
• Manage a portfolio of clients.
• Attend meetings and own client relationships.
• Work to deadlines to meet client needs and internal budgets.
• Take ownership of the quality of work produced.

5+ years of experience in practice

FRS102 & FRS102A knowledge

Education

ACCA or ACA qualified

Part qualified or qualified by experience
