Job summary

BK Plus in Glasgow is seeking an Accounts Manager to join a supportive, friendly team. You will manage a portfolio of clients and oversee the accounts process from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.

The role requires ACCA/ACA qualification or qualified by experience, with experience using CCH, IRIS, SAGE and Xero beneficial. A strong focus on quality of work and client service is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience using accounting software packages such as CCH, IRIS, SAGE and Xero is preferred.
• A professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA) or equivalent experience is essential.
• Knowledge of FRS102/FRS102A is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients from start to finish in the accounts process.
• Support Partners with day-to-day duties and maintain client relationships.
• Attend meetings and take ownership of client deliverables and deadlines.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and internal budgets.

We are seeking an Accounts Manager to join our team in Glasgow where you will be managing a portfolio of clients managing the accounts process from start to finish and will join a supportive friendly team.

As an Accounts Manager your roll will involve:

• Completion and review of a wide variety of accounts for small and medium sized companies
• Supporting the Partners with day to day duties
• Managing a portfolio of clients
• Attending meetings and taking ownership of clients
• Working to deadlines to ensure that client needs are met as well as internal budgets
• Taking a strong ownership of the quality of work produced

Requirements for the role

• ACCA or ACA qualified or qualified by experience
• Experience using CCH, IRIS, SAGE and Xero would be beneficial
• Experience with FRS102 & FRS102A
