ProTalent is seeking an Accounts Manager/Senior Manager in Ashford, Kent. You will manage your own SME client portfolio, review and sign off diverse accounts, and support partners daily. You’ll lead the accounts team, give feedback, and maintain strong client relationships.

The role requires ACA/ACCA (or part-qualified/qualified by experience), at least 5 years in practice, and strong FRS 102 knowledge. It offers a clear progression path, a supportive team, and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience.
• At least 5 years' recent experience in a similar practice role.
• Strong knowledge of FRS 102, including Section 1A.
• Confident reviewing work and developing others.

ABOUT THE FIRM

My client is an established Ashford practice that's part of a national accountancy group. It looks after a broad mix of small and medium-sized businesses, with a local team that knows its clients well and the backing of a bigger organisation behind it.

THE ROLE

You'll manage your own portfolio of clients, completing and reviewing a wide range of accounts and being the main point of contact. A big part of the job is reviewing the accounts team's work, giving useful feedback and helping people develop. You'll also work closely with the partners, supporting them day to day, so your voice will be heard.
