Insite Finance in Cardiff is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growth-oriented independent accountancy firm. You will work with experienced managers and directors across a portfolio of privately owned businesses, focusing on accounts preparation and broader client management.

Qualifications

• Recent UK accountancy practice experience and strong grounding in accounts preparation.
• ACA or ACCA qualification would be useful, otherwise strong qualified-by-experience considered.
• Ability to take ownership and work with directors across client portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
• Taking greater ownership of jobs from start to finish
• Supporting corporation tax and wider compliance work
• Reviewing work produced by less experienced colleagues
• Dealing directly with business owners and finance teams
• Joining client meetings and building your own relationships
• Helping identify issues before they become problems
• Supporting managers across larger or more involved clients
