Job summary

Blusource is recruiting for a Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager role with a leading employer in the region, offering hybrid working and flexible hours. The position focuses on preparing year-end accounts, corporation tax computations, and delivering proactive advisory services to clients.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with post-qualification experience in practice.
• Part-qualified considered if ample experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalise year-end financial statements for SMEs, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders.
• Prepare Corporation Tax computations and returns.
• Complete Self-Assessment tax returns for directors, owners and partners.
• Provide proactive tax and accounting advice to clients on tax efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with HMRC and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients.
• Assist in improving internal processes, systems and technology to enhance efficiency and workflow.
• Ensure client files and working papers comply with ICAEW guidelines and practice standards.

Education
