Job summary

Blusource Professional Services Ltd is actively recruiting for a Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager role based in the Cambridgeshire area, with hybrid working and strong study support.

You will prepare year-end financial statements for SMEs, handle Corporation Tax and Self-Assessment returns, and provide strategic advice to clients while liaising with HMRC. A PQE in practice and ICAEW/ACCA accreditation are preferred.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with post-qualification experience in practice.
• Part-qualified considered with ample experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalise year-end financial statements for SMEs, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders.
• Prepare Corporation Tax computations and returns.
• Complete Self-Assessment tax returns for directors and owners.
• Provide proactive advice on tax efficiency, systems, and compliance.
• Respond to client queries via email and telephone.
• Identify opportunities to deliver additional services to clients.
• Improve internal processes and technology to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain files and working papers per ICAEW guidelines.
