Job description

My client is 4 partner firm of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisers with 10 support staff. From our offices in East Lancashire we provide accountancy, audit and tax services along with business support to owner managed businesses, other organisation types such as charities and clubs and personal tax clients.

The successful candidate will become responsible for a portfolio of clients as well as providing support to the Partners in a whole range of client services including:

• Accounts preparation for larger clients
• Management accounts preparation
• Tax Returns
• VAT Returns
• Reviewing work of other employees
• Other ad hoc projects as they arise

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to raise their profile in a smaller company and take responsibility for their own workload and level of service. Audit experience would be an advantage as would the ability to attract new clients. Financial incentives would be available for introducing new work. A candidate who excels in the position would have the chance to gain promotion into more senior roles in the future.
