Job summary

Blusource Professional Services Ltd in Leicester is seeking a Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join our established practice. The role offers hybrid working and is suitable for both part-time and full-time candidates, with salary dependent on experience.

You will manage a portfolio of clients, prepare statutory accounts, review junior staff work, liaise with clients to resolve queries, and support tax returns and VAT. Opportunities for progression and flexible hours are included.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from start to finish.
• Review accounts preparation work completed by junior team members and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior accountants and accounts assistants to support their technical development.
• Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries, request information, and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Prepare self-assessment tax returns and CT600's.
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns.
• Dealing with your own portfolio of clients.

An independent, established firm of accountants based in Leicester, with a great reputation as an employer are looking for a Senior Accountant / Client Manager, to work out of their office in Leicester, due to expanding workloads and growth of the firm.

The role is open to part-time and full-time candidates and the salary is dependent on experience.
