Job summary

Blusource in Leicester is seeking a Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join their independent, established firm of accountants. The role can be part-time or full-time and offers hybrid working and flexible hours.

In this position you will manage a portfolio of clients, prepare statutory accounts, supervise juniors, and liaise directly with clients to resolve queries. The firm provides career progression and a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships from start to finish.
• Review accounts preparation work by junior team members and provide feedback.
• Supervise, mentor and train junior accountants and accounts assistants.
• Liaise with clients to resolve queries and maintain relationships.
• Prepare self-assessment tax returns and CT600s.
• Prepare and review VAT returns.
• Manage your own portfolio of clients.

An independent, established firm of accountants based in Leicester, with a great reputation as an employer are looking for a Senior Accountant / Client Manager, to work out of their office in Leicester, due to expanding workloads and growth of the firm.

The role is open to part-time and full-time candidates and the salary is dependent on experience.

• Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from start to finish.
• Review accounts preparation work completed by junior team members and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior accountants and accounts assistants to support their technical development.
• Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries, request information, and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Prepare self-assessment tax returns and CT600’s.
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns.
• Dealing with your own portfolio of clients.
