Bell Cornwall Recruitment are delighted to be working with a growing accountancy practice in the Stratford-upon-Avon area. They are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the team, with a real focus on year-end accounting.

Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Preparation of year end accounts to final stages for all clients
• Processing small, limited company accounts to final accounts stage, linking to tax returns as appropriate.
• Manage clients to ensure deadlines, and client responsibilities, are met
• Develop strong, long-term, relationships with clients
• Trial balance accounting and full tax returns

Person requirements:

• Accountancy practice experience (preferable)
• Experience of building relationships with external clients
• ACCA or ICAEW qualified (preferable)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to prioritise and organise workload effectively
• Experience and good working knowledge of carrying out tax returns (essential)
