Job summary

A well-established practice in Milton Keynes is recruiting a Senior Accountant to take ownership of a varied portfolio and be the go-to contact for clients. You will prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, handle corporation and personal tax and VAT, review junior colleagues’ work and look for improvements in processes.

You’ll work with cloud software (Xero, QuickBooks or Sage) and join a supportive team offering progression and a competitive benefits

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified with solid UK practice experience.
• Confident preparing accounts and tax to completion.
• Good working knowledge across accounts, tax and VAT.
• Strong communication and a client-first approach.
• Confident on cloud software — Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.

Responsibilities
