Job summary

ACCA Careers in Leeds is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for clients in the professional services sector. You will prepare statutory accounts, provide financial guidance, and support clients with their accounting needs; part-qualified ACA/ACCA is required.

The role offers hybrid working, a clear progression path to Manager, full study support for ACA/ACCA completion, and exposure to a varied client portfolio within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA part-qualified as minimum.
• Experience in Accounts Senior, Semi-Senior or equivalent practice role.
• Experience preparing year-end accounts for a range of business entities.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
• Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
• Assisting with management accounts and bookkeeping reviews
• Liaising directly with clients and responding to day-to-day accounting queries
• Supporting cloud accounting solutions including Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
• Reviewing work prepared by junior team members
• Assisting managers and partners with portfolio management
• Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value

As an Senior Accountant, you'll be handling day-to-day accounting tasks to ensure smooth financial operations for clients in the professional services industry. Job Offer
