Accountable Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Senior Accountant to join its Accounts team. You will manage a varied portfolio of clients, delivering commercially focused advice and exceptional service while working with experienced Managers and Directors.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA part-qualified, nearly qualified or newly qualified.
• Experience in an accountancy practice with owner-managed businesses.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing year-end statutory accounts for a broad portfolio of clients.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with owner-managed businesses.
• Advising clients on improving and streamlining their accounting processes.
• Preparing corporation tax computations.
• Delivering an outstanding client experience through proactive communication.
• Supporting, mentoring and developing junior team members.

Senior Accountant Attributes

• ACA or ACCA part-qualified, nearly qualified or newly qualified.
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Experience working with owner-managed businesses.
• Strong accounts preparation experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting software (experience with CCH would be advantageous).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive attitude and genuine desire to develop your career.
