Qualifications

• Experience with IRIS, Xero or Sage is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio.
• Prepare management accounts and assist with VAT returns.
• Act as a key client contact and build long-term relationships.
• Visit client premises as required to collect information.
• Assist with tax compliance and advisory work.
• Review corporation tax returns.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant job include:

• Preparing statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
• Preparing management accounts
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients
• Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
• Visiting client premises where required
• Assisting with tax compliance and advisory work
• Reviewing corporation tax returns

Requirements of the Senior Accountant job include:

• ACA or ACCA qualified, although part qualified individuals will be considered
• UK accounting experience is essential
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
