Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and provide high-quality advice and support.
• Review bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts prepared by junior team members.
• Liaise directly with clients to obtain information, resolve queries, and meet deadlines.
• Support partners and managers with workflow planning and client onboarding.

• Prepare year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and LLPs, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review corporation tax returns, self-assessment tax returns, and supporting schedules, identifying potential tax planning opportunities where appropriate.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact and developing strong professional relationships while providing high-quality advice and support.
• Review bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts prepared by junior team members, providing guidance, training, and constructive feedback.
• Liaise directly with clients to obtain information, resolve queries, and ensure work is completed efficiently and within agreed deadlines.
• Support partners and managers with workflow planning, client onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Profile

A successful Senior Accountant should have:
