Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Chester team, delivering high-quality accounting and financial services to clients.

You will prepare statutory accounts, manage client accounts, advise on tax planning, mentor juniors, and ensure timely reports and filings. Strong UK accounting qualifications and proficiency in Xero/Sage/QuickBooks/Excel are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with UK accounting and tax expertise.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and supporting audits.
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax, VAT, personal tax and self-assessment.
• Proven leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Proficiency in Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and Excel.

• Strong team leadership and coaching capabilities
• Excellent IT skills - proficient in Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and Excel
• High standards of accuracy with strong prioritisation and communication skills

Job Offer
