Job summary

Redline Group Ltd in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, is seeking a Principal Account Manager to drive profitable growth of existing customer accounts across the sales lifecycle, from quotation through order fulfilment.

You will lead RFQs, manage contract reviews, liaise with procurement and manufacturing, and mentor the Account Management team while building long-term relationships and identifying new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Account management or sales experience in engineering/manufacturing
• Strong technical understanding in electrical engineering or contract electronics manufacturing
• Proven track record of growing key accounts and meeting sales targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Strong commercial awareness with attention to detail and sound business judgement

Responsibilities

• Lead RFQs, quote submissions and follow-ups for existing and new business opportunities
• Manage contract reviews and ensure orders are processed in line with company procedures
• Liaise with procurement, manufacturing and internal stakeholders to meet customer delivery expectations
• Develop strong relationships with key customer contacts and carry out regular business reviews
• Identify new sales opportunities and support long-term profitable account growth
• Produce and maintain sales reports while working towards and exceeding sales targets
• Support the Head of Sales with sales strategy and the development, mentoring and day-to-day management of the Account Management team
