Job summary

ProTech Recruitment Ltd is looking for a seasoned Principal Account Manager to join our sales team in Hitchin. You will drive profitable growth of existing customer accounts, handling quotations, contracts and order fulfilment with a strong customer focus.

Working with the Head of Sales, you will develop the Account Management team, pursue new business opportunities, and ensure delivery against targets through daily collaboration with procurement, manufacturing and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in account management or sales.
• Strong technical understanding in manufacturing or engineering.
• Able to travel within local area as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing customer accounts to increase revenue.
• Lead quotes and submissions for opportunities.
• Follow up quotations to maximise sales.
• Oversee contract reviews and order processing.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing and stakeholders to meet delivery expectations.
• Build relationships with customer contacts and conduct reviews.
• Develop and mentor Account Management team.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Provide commercially focused solutions meeting customer needs.
