Job summary

Redline Group is seeking a Principal Account Manager in Hitchin, Hertfordshire to drive profitable growth within existing customer accounts. You will manage the full sales lifecycle from quotation through to order fulfilment, building trusted relationships across procurement, manufacturing and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Account management or sales experience within engineering/manufacturing.
• Strong technical understanding, ideally in electrical engineering or contract electronics manufacturing.
• Proven success in developing long-term customer relationships and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFQs, quote submissions and follow-ups for existing and new opportunities.
• Manage contract reviews and ensure orders are processed per procedures.
• Liaise with procurement, manufacturing and internal stakeholders to meet delivery expectations.
• Develop strong relationships with key customer contacts and conduct regular business reviews.
• Identify new sales opportunities and support profitable account growth.
• Produce and maintain sales reports while working toward and exceeding targets.
• Support Head of Sales with strategy and mentoring of Account Management team.
