The Opportunity:

As a key member of the Mood leadership team, your focus will be on the continued growth and expansion of the Mood product and consultancy offerings. Building on our highly successful business and established relationships within the MOD and related partners, you will play a leading role in managing and growing Mood’s influence through consultative engagement, maintaining stakeholder relationships and broadening Mood’s reputation and footprint within the sector.

This is a broad ranging and fascinating role which involves sales, leadership, people management, client relationship management, business development and team management skills.Typical responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of key strategic client relationships
  • Identification and proactive shaping of new opportunities with target clients.
  • Working with the Mood Leadership Team to secure profitable Mood orders which support Mood revenue growth, including upselling and cross-selling, identifying opportunities to grow business with existing clients and strategic partners.
  • Leading commercial aspects of CACI’s proposals to Mood clients, supported by CACI’s legal team as well as Technical Leads.
  • Working with Technical Leads to identify the development of propositions to take to market, that reflect a deep understanding of the domain and client needs.
  • Working closely with Technical and Delivery Leads to identify current and upcoming gaps and ensuring this is fed into forecasting and resource pipeline.
  • Working with the wider Mood and IIG teams to deliver competitive bids, including identification of internal resources and partners needed to deliver a winning bid.

The Fit:

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Senior Customer Management or Business Development role, working with MOD customers. You will have experience of:

  • Managing, developing and maintaining long-term relationships with influential stakeholders.
  • Driving account growth through new business capture and the expansions of offerings to existing customers.
  • Leading commercial negotiations across a range of commercial approaches and software delivery methodologies.
  • Managing client relationships, ensuring we meet client goals while achieving company commercial objectives.
  • Leading and mentoring junior staff

Due to the industries we work in, we require the successful candidate to be able to obtain high level security clearance. To qualify for this, you must be a British citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.
