We’re seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our team with at least 6 years previous experience in an advertising, creative or integrated agency environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across the agency’s largest B2B and B2C client portfolio. You’ll work on brand strategy, advertising campaigns and digital marketing.
This is a client facing role and you’ll be encouraged to make a real impact whilst contributing ideas within a collaborative and supportive team.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Client Relationships
- Act as the lead day-to-day contact for a portfolio of accounts, building relationships that clients trust and value.
- Develop relationships with core clients in ways that support both retention and growth.
- Lead the preparation of materials for client meetings and presentations, ensuring these are clear, accurate and considered.
- Lead client discussions on the accounts you run, articulating the rationale behind creative and strategic decisions.
Account & Commercial Management
- Take ownership of assigned accounts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to brief and to budget.
- Lead scoping and budget management, ensuring work is commercially sound from the outset and remains so as it evolves.
- Own forecasting for your accounts, providing an honest and current view of account performance.
- Identify and develop opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts.
- Manage and mentor junior colleagues, such as Account Executives, supporting their personal development.
Creative Delivery & Quality
- Coordinate creative development ensuring work meets the requirements of the brief.
- Ensure feedback is captured clearly and structured in a way that keeps creative development moving and aligned to the brief.
- Maintain quality and consistency across deliverables, reviewing work against agreed objectives before it is shared externally.
Strategic Contribution
- Contribute a strong, well-informed point of view to strategy and briefing, flagging where a brief risks working against the client's objectives.
- Lead briefing processes, translating strategic direction into clear briefs.
- Review work-in-progress against the brief and agreed strategy, resolving misalignment directly and with confidence.
- Bring informed opinions to internal reviews and reflections, helping raise the bar on the work the agency produces.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with colleagues in Creative, PR and Digital to support alignment and smooth delivery across accounts.
- Help identify new business opportunities and actively contribute to pitches, proposals and tender responses.
- Escalate issues in good time, with a clear view on how they might be resolved.
- Contribute to improving ways of working and support the development of junior colleagues.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Drive – you’ll be a confident self-starter who knows how to get things done whilst delivering work to the highest standard.
- Excellent presentation skills – you’ll frequently pitch ideas and present work to clients. The ability to do that with clarity and confidence is essential.
- Ability to juggle competing demands and accept pressure in a composed and calm manner.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
