Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in achieving new business targets.
- Liaise with Sales Directors to develop strategies for acquiring new business, attend client meetings, and follow up on action points.
- Conduct market exercises to identify competitive terms.
- Review insurance coverage and make recommendations on coverage, structure, and placement.
- Support sales pipeline management and project work as directed.
- Ensure premiums are collected prior to coverage start date and in accordance with procedures.
- Handle client queries professionally and document all interactions accurately.
- Use Acturis or other broking systems effectively to record information and manage diaries.
- Produce professional documentation using templates.
- Cross-sell products from other divisions.
- Refer complex queries to senior staff.
- Coordinate with other departments as needed.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge of main classes of General Insurance, CII's Code of Ethics, and GDPR.
- Minimum 5 years of commercial insurance experience.
- Proficiency with Acturis system.
Qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
- A level (desirable).
- Certificate in Insurance (desirable).
