Job summary

REM Associates Ltd. is recruiting an Account Director to lead a major contract portfolio across BES – Manufacturing and Industrial. The role focuses on delivering hard and soft services with a strong emphasis on client relations, performance management and continuous improvement.

The main site is in High Wycombe with some staff in Aylesbury. Contract revenue is between £4–6M per annum with target margins around 7%.

Qualifications

• Ideally qualified to degree level.
• Significant experience operating at a senior level delivering contract services.
• Excellent commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience of performance related contracts and management systems.
• PC literate and knowledge of the MS suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good knowledge and experience of Business Assurance systems.
• Good presentation, influencing and motivation skills, with experience of managing a team.
• Awareness of soft services.
• Experience of working in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Sector Director to develop objectives in line with business plan.
• Develop specific objectives and business plans in line with contract growth plan.
• Develop plans to improve direct delivery of services.
• Assist creating an expanded bespoke self delivery model of FM Services.
• Assist in developing Project Services, Energy Services.
• Deliver and communicate account specific performance objectives and contribute to company objectives by meeting own performance objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures across all the functions (SHEQ).
• Monitor and demonstrate continuous improvements to H&S and Environmental practices.
• Monitor and demonstrate continuous improvements across all service lines, driving efficiencies and best-in-class services.
• Lead the account management team and liaise with the customer at all levels.
• Conduct building audits and develop improvement plans as necessary.
• Develop Business Continuity Plan in conjunction with the customer.
• Develop and review risk register.
• Develop and maintain key stakeholder and customer relationships.
• Agree, monitor and control SLA's and performance measures for designated service lines.
