Job summary

Premier is seeking an Account Director or Senior Account Director to join our established B2B communications team in a hybrid London role. You’ll lead senior client accounts, shape media strategies and stay hands-on with delivery across integrated PR programmes.

You will develop compelling media angles, support pitches, advise clients and grow account value while mentoring junior team members in a fast-paced agency environment.

Qualifications

• Strong PR agency experience within B2B, technology or corporate comms.
• Proven ability to lead significant client accounts and act as senior adviser.
• Excellent media relations and storytelling to secure quality coverage.
• Experience managing senior client relationships and translating business goals into comms plans.
• Commercial awareness with budgets, profitability and account growth.
• Strong writing and communication skills, with mentoring capability.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior strategic lead across a portfolio of B2B and technology-focused client accounts.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and become a valued strategic adviser.
• Develop communications strategies that align with clients' business and commercial objectives.
• Provide proactive counsel, identifying opportunities, risks and value adds.
• Lead client satisfaction, retention, renewals and account growth.
• Oversee delivery across integrated PR and communications programmes.
• Remain hands-on with client work, including media strategy, storytelling and content.
• Develop and maintain journalist/media relationships and identify high-value opportunities.
• Oversee account budgets, profitability, forecasting and resourcing.
• Contribute to new business, proposals and pitches.
