The Opportunity Hub UK Ltd is seeking a Senior Account Director in Cardiff to drive measurable PR and communications outcomes. You will lead high-level client counsel, manage a talented team of account managers, and craft integrated strategies that align with broader business goals.

Ambitious Senior Account Director wanted to drive real impact in PR & Communications from Cardiff.

This position sits inside an established, large-scale operation with 250+ staff and a client roster built over decades. It's a proper leadership seat, not a stepping stone.

Here's what you'll be doing:

Own a portfolio of key accounts, setting strategy and holding final responsibility for delivery and client satisfaction

Lead client counsel at senior stakeholder level, including crisis communications and reputation management when it matters most

Manage and develop a team of account managers and executives, reviewing their work and building their careers

Draft and present integrated communications strategies that tie into wider marketing and business objectives

Control account budgets and forecasting, spotting growth opportunities within existing client relationships

Represent the agency in new business pitches, bringing credibility and a track record clients can trust

Here are the skills you'll need:

Several years' experience in a senior PR or communications role, ideally with agency-side exposure

Confident, clear communicator who can hold a room of senior clients without notes

Sharp commercial instincts. You'll need to read a budget as easily as a press release

Proven people management experience, including performance reviews and mentoring

Strong writing skills across formats: strategy documents, press materials, client reports

Calm under pressure. Crisis situations don't rattle you, they focus you
