Job summary

Malcolm Arnold Academy is seeking a senior leader to drive the operational support functions across Administration, HR, Payroll, Maintenance & Facilities, Health & Safety, Catering, Cleaning and Finance.

The role sits on the Academy Senior Leadership Team and requires close collaboration with the Central School Operations Team to ensure policy implementation and high standards across all sites. 37 hours weekly, 52 weeks per year, with access to LGPS and CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at minimum level.
• Related degree or equivalent qualification required.
• Willingness to travel between Trust sites for training and meetings.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate integrity.

Responsibilities

• Act as a SLT member advising on Central School Operating Model elements.
• Liaise with Central School Operations Team to implement Trust policies.
• Provide day-to-day line management for non-educational on-site staff.
• Prepare and submit information to Principal, committees and external bodies.
• Support out-of-hours events and wider Academy life.
