Job summary

TRC Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our Northampton-based team. You will work on domestic and commercial AC systems, diagnose faults, and perform repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance.

The role involves leading engineers when required and travelling locally from the Northampton base. We value independent workers with strong technical knowledge, a valid UK driving licence, and the ability to manage a small team while maintaining high safety and

Qualifications

• Hold a valid F-Gas Category 1 certification.
• Proven experience installing, diagnosing, repairing and servicing air conditioning systems.
• Experience with both domestic and commercial air conditioning.
• Capable of working independently and using own initiative.
• Experience and confidence to lead and manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Install air conditioning systems in domestic and commercial properties.
• Diagnose faults and identify appropriate repairs.
• Carry out repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot air conditioning systems efficiently and professionally.
• Lead and manage other engineers as required.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to a high professional standard.
• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Travel to customer sites, generally within approximately one hour of our Northampton base.
• Maintain and take appropriate care of the company vehicle, equipment and tools provided.
