Job summary

WeDoData are seeking an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer to join their Systems & Innovation team at a multi-site operation in Surrey. The role involves providing expert escalation support, maintaining Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Microsoft 365, and helping shape the IT infrastructure.

You will work with internal teams and suppliers on upgrades, disaster recovery, virtualization, cloud services, and continuous service improvement, with a 40,000–44,000 salary and typical

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a 3rd Line Support or Infrastructure Support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration.
• Experience managing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and enterprise business applications.
• Knowledge and experience of VMware.
• Azure experience.
• Experience with system monitoring, patch management and backup solutions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the escalation point for complex 2nd and 3rd line technical issues.
• Support and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and enterprise applications.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, backups, patching and disaster recovery solutions.
• Support virtualisation platforms and cloud services.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, digital transformation projects and continuous service improvement.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and third‑party suppliers to deliver high‑quality IT services.
