Job summary

VIQU IT is seeking a 2nd Line Support Engineer in Redditch for a permanent full-time role. You will provide hands-on desktop and server support, resolve escalated tickets and work across Microsoft 365, Windows, Active Directory, networks, Hyper-V and Veeam in a busy MSP setting.

You will thrive with strong troubleshooting skills, customer focus and the ability to manage varied environments while contributing to projects, upgrades and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a 2nd Line IT Support or Desktop Support role.
• MSP experience is advantageous with broad technical knowledge across technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd Line technical support across customer environments.
• Manage and resolve escalated tickets within SLAs.
• Hands-on desktop and end-user support across hardware, software and Microsoft technologies.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory issues.
• Support server and infrastructure environments.
• Assist with networking and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Support virtualised environments and backup infrastructure.
• Assist with customer projects, upgrades, deployments and technical changes.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and ticket records.
• Provide a professional and customer-focused support service.
