Job summary

Managed Service Provider in Camberley is seeking an experienced Senior 2nd Line Support Engineer to act as an escalation point for complex issues, via remote or on-site support. The role involves incident management, system maintenance, documentation, user support, and proactive monitoring.

You will work in a hybrid model (3 days in the office) and may benefit from certifications paid for by the company. Salary ranges from £35,000 to £42,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as senior 2nd line support engineer or equivalent.
• Strong troubleshooting of complex IT incidents and escalations.
• Familiarity with hybrid on-site and remote support models.

Responsibilities

• Incident Management: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues escalated from junior staff.
• System Maintenance: Configure, install, and maintain hardware, software, servers, and networks.
• Documentation: Update tickets, create knowledge base content, and maintain IT asset registers.
• User Support: Provide direct technical support (face-to-face or remote) for user issues.
• Proactive Monitoring: Monitor systems and investigate recurring issues to prevent incidents.
