Job summary

Solus Accident Repair Centres seeks a 2nd Line IT Engineer to own complex incidents across 2,500+ users and 40+ sites, supporting Evolve and HaloITSM within a busy Service Desk.

You will help 1st Line engineers grow, provide advanced troubleshooting for hardware, software, and networking, and participate in on-call, 24/7 P1 coverage, while contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing across the team.

Qualifications

Own and resolve escalated incidents from 1st line in a multi-site environment.

Responsibilities

Handle incoming calls and tickets day to day.
Resolve escalated tickets within HaloITSM.
Provide advanced troubleshooting across hardware, software and networking across multiple platforms.
Support and guide 1st Line IT Engineers, sharing knowledge and enabling success.
Support starter and leaver processes, building/configuring hardware and managing returns.
Assist with installation, configuration and ongoing support of IT systems.
Provide on-call support on a shift rota, covering P1 incidents 24/7.
Create and maintain documentation for consistency across the team.
Be an active member of the Solus Service Desk team.
