Solus Accident Repair Centres is seeking a proactive 2nd Line IT Engineer for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will own complex incidents escalated from 1st line and support colleagues and clients across the in-house system and broader IT stack.

We are looking for a talented and proactive 2nd Line IT Engineer to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a central role in a complex and exciting business integration programme, supporting the merging of systems, processes and technologies across multiple sites.
Working as part of a collaborative IT team, you will provide 2nd line support while helping to deliver critical integration activities, ensuring colleagues experience a seamless transition throughout this significant period of change. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of technical challenges, contribute to key project milestones and make a lasting impact on the future technology landscape of the business.
This role would suit someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives on problem-solving, and is excited by the opportunity to be involved in a large-scale integration project with genuine business impact.
You’ll take ownership of complex incidents and service requests escalated from 1st line, supporting colleagues and external clients using Evolve, our in-house bodyshop system. You’ll also support and guide our 1st Line IT Engineers, helping them grow their skills.
You’ll join a collaborative team with real influence over how our Service Desk operates, leading on escalations, working hands-on with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune and networking kit including Meraki, Fortinet and Cisco, and helping shape our documentation, processes and service as we grow.
