ANT Recruitment Ltd is seeking a diligent Second Mate to support safe navigation and vessel operations during relocation. You will maintain navigational watch, ensure compliance with STCW and company procedures, and assist the Captain Master in day-to-day tasks.

The role requires a valid STCW Officer of the Watch Certificate, an ENG1 Medical Certificate, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Officer of the Watch.

Qualificações

• STCW Officer of the Watch Certificate of Competency is required.
• ENG1 Medical Certificate is required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as Officer of the Watch.
• Background check is mandatory.
• Ability to mobilise to the South East England region within 3 hours of alert.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a safe navigational watch in line with STCW regulations and the Masters orders.
• Monitor vessel position, chart progress, and maintain course and speed.
• Execute the Masters standing and special orders diligently.
• Ensure bridge equipment and navigational aids are operational and correctly set.
• Conduct routine safety and security inspections.
