Job summary

Ainscough Crane Hire is seeking an experienced 150t Mobile Crane Operator to safely operate a 100t crane on high‑profile lifting projects across the UK. You will work closely with customers, site teams and the wider Ainscough team, maintaining a strong safety focus and professional conduct.

You will plan lifts, use duty charts, maintain clear communication, and uphold the Make the Safe Choice ethos on every site visit.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• HGV Class C licence.
• In-date CPCS Blue Card with Mobile Crane Operator authorisation.
• Proven experience operating large mobile cranes.
• Experience operating 100t cranes or similar.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 100t mobile crane safely and efficiently on projects.
• Carry out thorough pre-use and operational checks.
• Set up the crane including outriggers and equipment.
• Check duty charts and configure crane for each lift.
• Work with Site Managers, Crane Supervisors and lifting team.
• Respond to wind and environmental conditions appropriately.
• Maintain crane, load and surrounding safety awareness.
• Stop operations if conditions are unsafe.
• Complete documentation accurately and maintain crane care.
