Job summary

Ainscough Crane Hire is seeking an experienced 100t Mobile Crane Operator in Maidstone, Kent. You will operate a 100t crane safely on high-profile lifting projects, ensure plans and checks are followed, and work with site teams to deliver complex lifts with safety as the priority.

Qualifications

• Requires CPCS Blue Card with Mobile Crane Operator authorisation.
• Must hold a Full UK driving licence and HGV Class C licence.
• Experience operating large mobile cranes, including 100t cranes, is essential.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to stop unsafe operations.
• Ability to work closely with site teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 100t mobile crane safely and efficiently in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and company procedures.
• Carry out thorough pre-use and operational checks.
• Set up the crane correctly, including outriggers and supporting equipment.
• Check rated capacity systems and ensure crane is configured for each lift.
• Liaise with Site Managers, Project Managers and other members of the lifting team.
• Maintain awareness of wind and environmental conditions and adapt operations accordingly.
• Represent Ainscough professionally on customer sites.
