Goonhavern School in Truro invites applications for an exceptional Class Teacher and SENDCo to join our friendly village school on a job-share basis. You will teach a Year 2 class and lead SEND provision across the school, working with the Headteacher, staff, families and external agencies.
You will champion SEND needs, drive high standards of inclusive teaching, monitor pupil progress and develop staff expertise while strengthening partnerships with parents and external professionals.

This unique role combines teaching within a Year 2 class on a job-share basis with leadership of SEND provision across the school. Working closely with the Headteacher, staff team, families and external agencies, the successful candidate will lead and develop our inclusive practice, ensuring that pupils with special educational needs receive the support, challenge and opportunities they need to flourish both academically and personally. We are looking for someone who will champion the needs of children with SEND, drive high standards of provision across the school and support colleagues to deliver inclusive, high-quality teaching for all learners. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping our SEND strategy, monitoring pupil progress, developing staff expertise and strengthening partnerships with parents and external professionals.
