Job summary

Philosophy Education LTD. in Lewisham seeks an experienced SENDCO for maternity cover starting January 2027 at a welcoming Catholic primary school. You will lead SEND provision and ensure pupils receive appropriate support to thrive.

You will work with the Headteacher, teachers, support staff and families to coordinate EHCPs, reviews and practical strategies for inclusion. Prior SENDCO in a primary setting is essential.

Qualifications

• Experienced SENDCO with knowledge of primary school SEND provision.
• Understanding of SEND Code of Practice and reviews.
• Ability to liaise with parents, staff and external professionals.
