Qualifications

• Experience of working with students with SEND is essential.
• A strong understanding of inclusive classroom practice.
• The ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and external agencies.
• A commitment to high expectations and improving outcomes for vulnerable students.
• The SENDCo qualification, although desirable, is not essential; however, experience of working with students with SEND is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day organisation of SEND provision, ensuring that systems are implemented consistently and effectively across departments.
• Work with teachers to ensure high-quality adaptive teaching, translating SEND strategies into impactful classroom practice.
• Develop and deploy Teaching Assistants, supporting high expectations and effective practice.
• Collaborate with pastoral teams, families, and external agencies to ensure coordinated and effective support for students.
• Champion inclusion by promoting a culture where every student is known, supported, and challenged.
