Job summary

Abbey MAT is seeking a dedicated SENDCo at Manston St James CofE Primary School in Leeds. The role focuses on leading SEND provision, collaboration with families and external agencies, and promoting inclusive teaching across the school.

The successful candidate will use pupil progress data to plan targeted support, provide staff training, and uphold safeguarding and pupil wellbeing within our Christian ethos and wider school community.

Qualifications

• Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school to support pupils' needs.
• Work with staff, parents, carers and external agencies to promote outcomes for children with SEND.
• Use assessment and pupil progress information to identify needs and plan support.
• Provide guidance and training to colleagues to develop inclusive teaching.
• Uphold safeguarding and pupil wellbeing as part of the school's ethos.

Responsibilities
