Job summary

Impact North West Schools Ltd in Birkenhead is seeking an experienced SENDCo to lead SEND provision across the school and work with senior leaders, families and external agencies to ensure high-quality, personalised support for pupils with SEND.

The role requires NPQ SEND or NASENCo and a proven track record in inclusive education, safeguarding, and leading teams. Competitive salary of £45,000+ and a supportive, development-focused environment are offered.

Qualifications

NPQ SEND or NASENCo qualification (essential).
Significant experience supporting pupils with SEND in specialist or inclusive settings.
Strong understanding of behaviour, trauma-informed practice and inclusive curriculum design.
Effective leadership with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop SEND provision in line with the SEND Code of Practice.
Identify, assess and review pupils' SEND needs.
Develop and oversee high-quality individual support plans.
Work collaboratively with staff to embed inclusive practice across the school.
Liaise effectively with parents/carers, local authorities and multi-agency partners.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of SEND interventions and provision.
Contribute to strategic leadership and whole-school improvement.
