Job summary

Abbeyfield School in Northampton is seeking a proactive SENDCo to lead SEND provision, remove barriers to learning and ensure every learner can thrive. You will work with staff, families and external agencies to secure excellent outcomes for students with additional needs.

The role is permanent, 32.5 hours, term-time only, with MPS/UPS plus TLR. You will lead inclusive practice, model high standards of teaching, and drive wellbeing and SEMH support across the school.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status and a relevant degree.
• Proven track record of securing excellent outcomes for students with SEND.
• Data-driven experience analysing national, local and school-level data to inform SEND strategy.
• Coaching and developing teachers and support staff to strengthen inclusive practice and pedagogy.
• Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and SEMH support to help students thrive.
