Job summary

The Cambian Group is seeking a SENDCo and Designated Teacher to lead and coordinate SEND policy and provision across the Forum School and Residential Home in England.

You will work with staff, parents and external agencies to ensure high standards of teaching, safeguarding and pupil wellbeing, including monitoring EHCPs and compliance with the Equality Act 2010, while fulfilling teaching responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Lead and coordinate SEND policy and provision across the school and associated settings.
• Provide professional guidance to staff, parents and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Determine the strategic development of SEND policy and provision in the school.
• Be responsible for day-to-day operation of the SEND policy and coordination of provision for pupils with SEND.
• Provide professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff, parents and other agencies.
• Fulfil teaching responsibilities as required and be a central contact within the school.
• Ensure looked-after children are supported to succeed academically and emotionally.
