Job summary

Aston Community Education Trust is seeking an enthusiastic SENDCo to work alongside our existing SENDCo across our academy provision to support pupils with SEND. You will provide professional guidance in SEND and ensure resources are used to raise achievement and progress, while contributing to safeguarding as a member of the safeguarding team.

Qualified SENDCo or willingness to undertake the qualification (funded by ACET) is welcomed; ACET offers an excellent professional development programme

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the existing SENDCo to support pupils with SEND.
• Provide professional advice and guidance in SEND to improve teaching and progress.
• Ensure resources are used effectively to raise standards and progress for all pupils.
• Be a member of the academy’s safeguarding team.
