Job summary

The Wellington Academy, part of Ascend Learning Trust, invites applications for a SENDCo to take overall responsibility for SEND, regulatory compliance, and coordinating educational support for students.

You will be the link for staff, parents, carers and agencies while working with the Senior Leadership Team and the Trust to ensure the best outcomes for our students. This role supports a culture of inclusion, professional development, and high expectations across the school.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for SEND and related policies.
• Experience coordinating educational support for students.
• Ability to liaise with staff, parents, carers and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for all aspects of SEND.
• Coordinate provision and develop inclusive school strategies.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership Team and Ascend Learning Trust to secure outcomes.

This role will become the link for staff, parents, carers and agencies while working closely with Senior Leadership Team in schools and across the Trust to ensure the best outcomes for our students.
