Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to deliver Maths, English or Science tuition for learners with SEND and SEMH needs. Roles are offered on a self-employed basis with in-person, hybrid, or remote options and flexible hours.

The role requires 2+ years of teaching experience and QTS/QTLS, enhanced DBS and two references. You will work with local authorities to support young people in a trauma-informed environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD and/or PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to learners with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on progress.
• Support pupils from KS1–KS5 with flexible, trauma-informed tutoring.
• Contribute to safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
