Job summary

Targeted Provision is recruiting Core Subject SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of Young People with SEND and SEMH needs in your community. Roles include Maths, English or Science tuition, in person, hybrid or remote, with flexible hours to suit your schedule.

You will support disengaged and vulnerable learners using trauma-informed teaching, plan and report on progress, and work under a self-employed arrangement across local schools and authorities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/ PMLD in trauma-informed ways.
• Subjects: Maths, English, and/or Science taught with flexibility to deliver SEND support.
• QTS / QTLS qualification required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online or hybrid tuition to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan lessons and report progress, with regular feedback to students and guardians.
• Support KS1–KS5 learners as appropriate for your skills.
• Maintain a trauma-informed, safe learning environment.
