Job summary

Targeted Provision in the UK is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to work with schools and local authorities, delivering Maths, English or Science tuition to young people with SEND and SEMH needs. You’ll teach in person, online, or hybrid, with flexible hours and a child-centered, trauma-informed approach.

Requirements include 2+ years teaching experience, QTS or QTLS, enhanced DBS and references. Roles are self-employed, with opportunities to make a difference and join a supportive SEND-focused

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a trauma-informed way.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
• UK-based right to work (remote/online allowed)

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report for lessons and provide progress feedback
• Contribute to raising standards of education for SEND learners
