Job summary

Targeted Provision in the United Kingdom is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of disengaged learners with SEND and SEMH needs. Roles are flexible, with in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching opportunities available and a self-employed employment basis.

Applicants should have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and Enhanced DBS. The organisation supports CPD and mentoring, and aims to place tutors within 45 minutes of their location or postcode.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• QTS / QTLS required; Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references preferred.
• UK-based with right to work in the UK; safeguarding knowledge welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tutoring to learners with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Report on lessons and progress, with regular feedback to authorities as needed.
• Support local authorities and schools referred pupils through flexible tutoring.
