Job summary

Targeted Provision in the United Kingdom is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to work with local authorities and schools, delivering Maths, English or Science tuition to learners with SEMH and SEND needs.

Roles offer flexibility with in person, hybrid, and remote opportunities, competitive pay (£28-£35 per hour), CPD mentoring, safeguarding support, and a role focused on transforming lives of disadvantaged learners across the UK.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD, in a trauma-informed way.
• Subjects: Maths, English, or Science.
• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• Location: UK-based with the right to work in the UK.
• Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to learners with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support pupils referred by local authorities by planning and delivering flexible tutoring.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular progress feedback.
• Contribute to raising standards of education for SEND learners.
