Job summary

SENse Learning seeks dedicated SEND teachers to deliver one-to-one support for students with SEND across home and community settings. Join a team delivering trauma-informed, individualized tutoring that adapts to each learner’s needs and goals.

The role offers flexible, part-time to full-time hours with in-person, hybrid, and remote options, and emphasizes safeguarding, DBS facilitation, and ongoing pastoral support for tutors and learners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• QTS / QTLS certification is required to teach in the UK and to work with SEND learners.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people who have SEND and SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring tailored to individual needs.
• Support pupils KS1–KS5 with flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and EHCP considerations.
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
